Who controls school data
The school or district remains the controller of its student and operational information. SchoolPickupLine processes that information to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service.
Information used by the service
- Student names, grades, and pickup tags
- Sibling and carpool relationships configured by the school
- Queue and pickup activity entered by authorized personnel
- Usernames, roles, and related authorized-user information
- School configuration information such as colors, logos, announcements, and line settings
How information is used
Information is used to operate the pickup workflow, display the live queue, support authorized users, maintain records, and provide support and troubleshooting.
Website analytics
The public SchoolPickupLine website uses first-party analytics to understand site usage and improve the sales experience. This may include anonymous browser and session identifiers, hashed IP identifiers, approximate location, network organization, ASN, estimated network category, page views, approximate time on site, device type, referral source, video activity, trial-button clicks, and inquiry-form activity. The analytics system does not use student data and does not store visitor IP addresses in the analytics records.
No sale or advertising use
SchoolPickupLine does not sell student data and does not use student data for advertising.
Retention, export, and deletion
Operational history may be retained according to product configuration and applicable agreements. Schools may request export or deletion of their data at the end of service, subject to legal and operational requirements.
